Wah Nam wanted to combine both FerrAus and Brockman to justify a stand alone rail to port. Now that Atlas has 50.1% stake, Wah Nam have to resort to plan B? Either link into FMG and consider losing another substantial stake, tie in with Gina's hangkok prospecting and probably lose a stake or possibly another third party operator? I think the FerrAus bid was a good one seeming that stage 3 in east pilbara are in close proximity. Consolidating the juniors is a good move because it increase port capacity in the short term?? lets hope the limo drivers of wah nam get cold feet so Mr flanagan can do another one?
I think strategically however that Atlas should concentrate on tenaments closer too Anketell as this will be the next substantial window for low cost iron ore.
