here you go nich AUSTRALIAN gold producer Focus Minerals (FML) has reported a significant upgrade to gold reserves at Tindal's Mining Centre at Coolgardie, Western Australia. The ore reserve at the Perseverance deposit has increased to 100,000 ounces, a 32 per cent increase on the initial ore reserve estimate of 76,000 ounces outlined in April and providing a substantial boost to Perseverance's mine life, which now extends to about two years. Since commissioning of the Perseverance deposit, about 14,500oz of gold has been mined with 10,500oz produced through milling campaigns at the nearby Greenfields processing plant. In addition to the Perseverance upgrade, a probable reserve of 28,700oz has been defined through geological modelling of the nearby Countess deposit. This is the first gold reserve estimate outside the Perseverance deposit, providing Focus with a strong pipeline for continued full-scale production. A pre-feasibility study on the Countess Resource was aimed at assessing the economic viability of the new resource and the synergies of mining Countess in conjunction with Perseverance. The Countess reserve is expected to increase as further drilling is done up and down plunge. Shares in FML ended at 3c last week.
