They are possibly in the middle of negotiations with Wah Nam and thus cannot announce.

They are warning people not to accept the bid (listen to the board)

Something else positive will happen "more twist and turns" left in this saga.

I take this that the board are doing all they can for shareholders. I think it is a positive communication if you read between the lines.
