Interestingly, the AFR article suggested that the parts are being made using the QHL process. That can't be correct as we haven't heard the results of the Vector project. Though this is due any time now.

If the Vector project has gone to plan, there may be an announcement of an agreement to seek full qualification of the QHL process for the JSF. How long this would take isn't clear. Those participating in the project would have an idea of how its been going and where it looks like heading you would think. A positive outcome in the vector project may be the catalyst that changes the sentiment around QHL.
