    Comment from todays meeting

Origin’s climate plan received 93.55 per cent support from shareholders, which the ACCR put down largely to its decision to exit from the Beetaloo Basin and from its gas exploration ventures in the Canning Basin in Western Australia and the Cooper-Eromanga Basin in central Australia.

“Today’s support for the Carbon Transition Action Plan is a ringing endorsement for Origin responding to shareholder expectations,” said ACCR lead analyst Alex Hillman, calling on Woodside Energy to follow Origin’s lead.

The ACCR and other pressure groups are still worried that Tamboran and other new owners of the Origin exploration ventures will not prevent emissions from being released in any subsequent development of the gas resources. (No joke)

Over to you Tommy I know you have the skills for this it’s why we hired you, so tee up your meetings and let’s get the next partner on board and Origin out. The clock is ticking. Time is money and your new role will be judged on your performance here so Tommy let’s get the partner right and BRU back on track.
