Nice work vsberlina,

The day has arrived. Its felt like a year since Fortis went into a trading halt pending an announcement.

All the questions that have been raised will soon be made much clearer and hopefully are answered today. Comparisons with the likes of STB will be calculated allot more accurately etc and we may be able to work out a conservative market cap.

What I'm really excited about is the fact all the brokers and insto's will be watching with calculators ready as well. As suggested here by another poster, the article in yesterday's AFR has already singled out STB as a comparison. This will do wonders for FMJ's SP and I note STB had a nice rise yesterday as well.

Also watching I feel will be the likes of BHP etc. In todays AFR they have said they are still on the lookout for potential deals in Potash, copper and petroleum.

Will Fortis be a Riversdale like rise all over again? It feels like it for me as I've watched and held RIV since the early days!
