Article on BRU in the SMH re Fracking.

Did anybody read the story in the SMH today about BRU’ s submission to the fracking enquiry ?
Just another beat up by a young journalist who doesn’t know anything about fracking. Apparently BRU said in its submission that recovery of fluids from a well had shown there was radioactive substances and other contaminants. A copy of BRU’S sumbmission was obtained by the Lock The Gate movement . Anyway, the radionuclides are naturally occurring and it doesn’t say what the other contaminants are. It goes on to say that fracking is related to earth tremors in other parts of the world from injecting water into the formation. Some real scaremongering , that will no doubt be repeated many times by various green groups and of course the ABC. Another big question is ,....exactly how did the Lock The Gate movement get a copy of the report ? Gee, could it have been from a Labor/Green member of the committee?
