article on exxon's 'huge' find in vietnam, page-23

Just a thought

With ENI having deep pockets and NEN having a small market cap, if this turns out to be a major field then it would make sense for ENI to take over NEN, split off and sell it's Californian operation and keep Vietnam plus the other exploration rights in Asia and the 2d/3d data base asset.

I don't know anything about Kris so have no idea what kind of take over target it would be.
If this were to occur I wonder what price NEN shares would be valued at.
Interested to hear other's opinions.
