An interesting little detail in the Wilsons report.
They report the trial is likely to include 200 patients, but interestingly the primary endpoint proposed is resection rate.
This means that the outcome is reached max 6 months after implantation.
And not the several years required to show overall survival. The argument is that resection of LAPC is the only real method of influencing survival, and Oncosil is primarily aimed at helping get that resection rate higher.
That makes it a much more efficient trial.
If FDA accepts this, it will be a huge bonus.
