discussing it with one my colleagues today-the number of interesting stories out there but comparatively few juniors at Diggers compared with previous years. Did not spot anyone from SHN, LEG, etc etc etc.They may have been there but they certainly kept a low profile if they were.
The conference itself is reasonably intense but there is ample opportunity to speak one on one with reps from about 100 companies over the three days. Also a good venue to bounce ideas/clarify issues with whoever is floating by.
Cost is around $1200, plus outrageous airfares (which will not get any cheaper with the oil price), plus accommodation (basic).
Skimpies are out in force but overrated.
It is about 50% full for next year already! Claim it as a tax deduction, and have a look at a few mines as part of it (IGO,CRS, and DIO had tours this year)-see where the porky tellers you are investing in really are loosing your money!
