Under Brazilian Law, all oil and gas discoveries are under the control of the Brazil National Petroleum Agency [ANP], which makes the first public statements about the outcome of wells. Companies may only report to the market the results of wells after the ANP has reported.
The Maruja is now drilling ahead to lower levels.
So we are waiting for the ANP to report on the outcome of Maruja-1. This should be before the end of the week.
