I agree with the comments posted by many of you, the insto's seem to be tring to keep a lid on the price, but the o/s buyers just seem place orders to get X amount of stock with not the same emphasis on price.

I don't think it hurts even to raise the bar, and in a small way take them on. After all, a little trade can change the market just as much as a large one! And if that means creating a new record high, that they (brokers) have to go tell their clients, it last traded in Australia at 78c, then so be it. It's not a fool proof strategy by any means, but it has seemed to have worked from 64c. I have employed it several times before over the last 18 months. And yes like many of you, my portfolio jumps quite a bit in value too with only a small outlay of money. Which is nice. But in the end, I'm buying to hold Anvil for quite some time yet! And when it's a multiple dollar stock, 78c will seem, very, very cheap!
