Just got back from holidays again,s eems like we're making good momentum, will we finally stay above 14c? If we could get the price to 14.5, 15c today that would be a first in along time.
I just noticed on the charts that on my last holidays (probably why I missed it) a good 4 million of volume was pushed through on the 31/01/14, resulting in a big decline in the on balance volume indicator given we closed down in the negative.
It could be a misconstrued indicator as I believe the indicator becomes negative if the day closes in the red, and the volume gets taken off the indicator, so if there was a few closing bids that were negative, despite a large volume going through positive/at a netural price, the on-balance volume indicator would fall by the whole 4 million. someone correct me if i'm wrong?
But basically it was a pretty big shift in volume, the subsequent announcements seemed great though? So it leaves me perplexed - anyone thought or looked into the trading around that period in better detail?
