Peninsula Mines (PSM) rose 27.8 per cent on expanding its lithium footprint in South Korea.
Mali came in as the 84th (out of 109) most attractive mining jurisdictions in the latest annual survey by Canada’s Fraser Institute; perhaps you could reverse that and say it is the 25th least attractive.
But that did not dent the lithium story, with Birimian Gold (BGS) announcing an acquisition in the Sahelian country — its shares rose from 6.6c to 10.5c.
