In the food industry, it does happen that we (Australia) export all the "good fish" overseas and then import the "less than good fish" into Australia to meet local demand........but gas!!!.......madness. What about the environmental cost of shipping gas, will we see the greenies banging on about this?
If is more economical for AGL to import gas from the Middle East than to work with the government and get supply up and running from the Northern Territory, then we need a new govenment. I guess NEGI can become a tourist attraction.
Another example of how Australia sucker punches itself and we the public end up paying.
