Yes Oliver….another nice article…..a couple of good points
1. “It’s a sign of their confidence that they were insistent on a scrip-based deal, and from our discussions with them they intend to stay supportive shareholders going forward.”…..thats a $20m US vote of confidence in TMR
2. The other is the NPV of the project at $88m US. They have quoted the consultants “worse case” scenario , the best is $310m US…and bear in mind the consultants themselves would be a fairly conservative bunch (and rightly so), but also ….whilst the NPV is an efficient tool for choosing between projects/investments with differing cash flows and timelines (in this case 21 years) it will be the net profit on which the value of the coy will be judged………and this is going to be fairly large on a 30k t cu and 22koz au operation….I won’t do the maths at current prices for fear of topping up
