There may well be 3 million ounces...who knows....but it's a bit like saying "Do you believe someone who has done it before?". Maybe they know what they are talking about. And if so are you prepared to have a bet on them. If it's of no interest then it doesn't matter.
I'd rather back someone who has a track record...than back a 'try hard' or 'never was'. I gather there have been plenty of those who have searched for Gold or Oil and never found enough to respectively make a 9 carat ring or spray on to a squeaky hinge.
I'm no expert and that is why I DMOR...and then choose to pay the experts to do the job.
If they fail then so be it. Mind you is already having 1 million ounces plus, some of which will be mined in the first mine at a good profit, classed as a failure?
Probably only if you measure on current share price.
Will look again once gold is coming out of the ground, and see if I have made some money.
