No worries. I always read the MCR posts, good quality and thought provoking posters. I've held MCR shares since I think they were called AfricaWest Gold, at around 5c. So it's been a while. I rarely coment as there are many more informed MCR investors than me. I concentrate on AVM & copper.
I have to say, I'm surprised as to how far the share price has fallen, in such a short period of time. But MCR is a member in a big club at the moment. Quality miners like MCR are not just being hit by lower commodity prices and rising costs but a lack of confidence, short selling and fund manager trading in a falling market. Things are just plain ugly out there. Fundamentals are out the window. I don't think that lack of confidence in the market will change much until at least the end of April next year.
What's important is how well MCR is being managed, the quality of exploration being undertaken and having the ability to turn those results into a mine. MCR gets a big tick on all fronts.
Is MCR good buying at these prices. Probably. I'm watching carefully for any opportunities.
Keep up the good posts.
All the best
KKR
