SBS under threat again?
A logical conclusion if there is any M&A activity planned - but firstly we have to get Gertler's cash and there might be some niggling doubts about that but expecting the Notice of Meeting this week - but we shouldn't believe we've got this money until the shares are allotted.
Given the technical problems at Kinsevere(EAF's)and Dikulushi and other expansion plans in the DRC it's hard to see there's cash left over for M&A activity - believe it when I see it although they might have to move on SBS to realise the value of their current investment - a sort of catch 22.
The problems with commissioning of the EAF's at Kinsevere is a very disappointing development - understandably losing some market credibility in being able to deliver projects on time/budget.
Patience & faith could be a long bow for some investors.
