The BOP unit is the red&blue potbelly device with pressure hoses sticking out of it.

Model is GK-7.5, rated at 5000 psi (as per the photo).

Hope this helps in getting a better understanding of the events at the wellsite. Given that the site sits in the middle of a cane farm, IMO damage should b minimal & restricted to the local crop.

They still have 2 more wells planned on this saltdome, 1 updip & 1 downdip frm the D&L#1 well, so lets hope they resolve this soon.
