Why would the joa be in conflict with the backbone psc between contractor s and gov?
Doesn't make sense.
Why did petrosen not notify cop it wanted to exercise it PE rights inside the 30 days from formal notice.?
If it had rights, it no longer has rights.
Petrosen Is 99% owned by the government, so is not a contractor in the PSC,but is bound, to carry out it obligations in the same manner as the contractors, being an arm of the state and party to the JOA & PSC.
People are truly clutching at straws here purely to support the speculation that Petrosen are the door for Total.
Then what?
Cairn then have new PE rights for WPL? etc.
Not a good look for a government,moving towards transparency & international standards,is it.
Net alone the message it sends to the Majors they are trying to attract.
