    I agree, as soon as someone figured out that to make a real buck out of food they have to take it out of being a commodity and turn it into something else.

    "I have given up all sugar and refined flours and bread and vegetable oils, and have honestly never felt better.
    Just good old fashioned roast dinners, or sardines and salad etc etc"

    I really wonder about the connection between refined carbs and the diabetes
    epidemic we see today. Years ago diabetes was a rarity.

    My point in the previous post was simply with the massive amount of resources spent on research we don't actually have anything sorted as to an optimal diet. Sure, there's mountains of research, we are drowning in it but after all that, what do we have? You would think that diet is a basic foundation for everything else, but if they can't even do that what do they really know?
