Sharks, That agruement does not make sense. The BDI is the Baltic DRY Index. This index does not include Oil Tankers (Wet cargo). There is also very few OBOs these days so the number of dry cargo ships suitable to store oil is not significant enought to impact the BDI. The BDI is for dry cargo ships only.
