I must admit to some confusion, as the converse of what you have said seems to imply that if BoA were not selling then the SP would rise.
If that is the case, then what I don't understand is why if you are trying to sell your position, do you keep the cap down. Surely you are better off by being patient and sell off slowly but on a rising market for a higher return?
Perhaps my lack of understanding is a reason that I have remained in the Construction industry which tends to be a little be more simplistic.
