population growth needs to slow - developing countries should be given more energy efficent technology at a cut price.

What needs to be fasttracked is he3 - fusion research - a moon base t mine the stuff (1 tonne of he3 which is very rare on earth but plentiful on the moon) would be enough to power US energy demands for 1 year.

A $20B US moon base - annual cost predictions from research groups. Would be able to support 20-100 tonnes per annaum to earth - it would need to be loaded into space drops and dropped into the oceans.

Technological doable - for $20B a year 20 tonnes of he3 woudl provide global energy consumpition (its also totally green with no waste products) would remove the need for coal - oil and other non renewable forms of energy.

The science on he3 fusion plants is doable but needs more funds to be going large scale. This is the way of the future will the global community embrace such an effort.
