For example:

In healthy adults 31% to 68% of ArTiMist is swallowed and undergoes first pass metabolism. The ArTiMist Researcher then says that this is consistent with that seen in the case of other sublingually administered drugs.

Also, a fast rate of absorption does not imply fast onset of action. This is because the rate-limiting step can be transport from the mucosal membranes into the systemic circulation.
