5,500 children die every day in Africa, about 5 children under 5 years old die every minute and malarial is one of the main causes of death. it is easier to administer drugs via a mouth spray than injection or tablets for children. Artemether is an established drug and should pass through any drug administration bodies as WHO has this in their essential drugs lists
