The sell off that occurred from 12pm would’ve been a result of the news regarding the Israeli attack rather than shorts activity imo (the news definitely aided the shorts though).
Short bots have been struggling to break the 19c range over the last few days as there were consistent buy orders coming through at 19c price with minimal selling at 18.5c.
I just happened to be online when the news was being announced of the attack and saw the sell orders significantly rise for 18.5 & 19c ranges.
Dow Futures have already dropped from negative 480 points at 12pm when the news was announced to now sitting in negative 163 points.
Seems like market futures are stabilising, however we won’t know the full picture until tomorrow morning.
