I haven’t posted here in awhile, but there is a development happening in USA that you may want to be aware of. TMRC Texas Rare Earth sold off 80% rights of their REE mine to a private company USA Rare Earth. People who own it also are on TMRC board. Long story.

Anyways, now in order to get funding USA Rare Earth is going to IPO through a SPAC and get between $300m to $500m guaranteed.

FYI USA Rare Earth bought the old Hitachi magnet making equipment to make NEODYMIUM magnets.

Arafura had an agreement with them I thought.

Word to Gavin if he reads this stuff - Gavin, you can get the $1 Billion you need in cash if you merge with a NYSE SPAC. They only get 15-20% of company, but you get all their cash.

For those who don’t know how SPACS work it’s like this:

Investors start a blank check company on NYSE. They sell say 100m shares at $10 and raise $1B then they have two years to “merge with a company” and take up to 20% ownership. You can invest in the SPAC early because it’s already “listed” on NYSE. Fees are all done it’s actively trading. A lot of people buy tons of warrants. Anyways, it would get them all the money they need with zero debt and they would convert the current shareholders here because you would still own 80% even if you did not invest in the SPAC.

the shares you get in the SPAC always convert 1:1 and that stock price stays as it merges.

All the pre Revenue EV companies did it and so did MP Materials.
