A mullock dump is by definition, waste rock from which the wanted material has been extracted, and or waste material generated while searching for minerals while mining.

Hand picking samples to generate assays from material passed over from past activity is one thing, but turning a mullock dump into a JORC resource is another. The uneven distribution of any remaining mineralised material in a waste dump, is extremely difficult to define...... lucky people may believe in estimations, but to get funding it will have to be more accurate.

If a deposit is present, it won't be found in a waste dump.
