i think we should also think about the poitics of the big boys... referring to article a couple days ago about eg yalourn (substitute other power stations) needing funding from govt to survive... well i suspect this may be partially true/partially they just want govt handouts.... but on another angle, if you take MTE's technology, to upgrade existing power station would require retro-fit (expensive) or a new station (v espensive)...this would need to govt funding just to be viable... additionally, MTE 's tech may not be viable until 2020..... however, esi's tech (a) does not require retro-fitting (b) can recover cost of power station (maybe hand in hand with govt handout) in fewer years than rivals (more efficient) and (c) can be deployed immediately.

ie esi could have a material impact on 2010 targets, other techs may not... just my opini
