I do, money can change people in very bad ways. A Real Geo in my experience prefers rocks over money, I have worked with a few over the years the ones I hated the most, where actually in the end the ones I liked the most. Going deep bush with some of them was enough to send me crazy. Getting all excited because of worthless epidote specimens with tourmaline, Jizzing over some Herkimer crystal quartz talking your ear over a piece of limonite, claiming my gold find was pyrite speaking to you about their inferred science of why that fault is there and how it was caused. These are the ones that forget about their paycheck for that day, and rather bask in the new experience of the geology they are traversing.

Then you have the bad ones, and mate they are a dime a dozen. Shitty reports, no clue on what the mineral specimens are even though we are looking for these indicators, having to teach them about mineralogy, the geology of the region and so forth.

I suppose what I am getting at is there are many people within our industry that take advantage which is such a shame because It's such a beautiful industry at the very heart of it, the very premise of it, the primitive nature of it. It's hard to explain to people the thrill of finding a nice deposit by hunting down indicators over days, months and sometimes years. The passion has to be there, I have it in buckets, these guys seem to have given up or sold their soul to the $$$. I do it for free, meaning I earn nothing, nada, I take no salary. Only when we find things, work our arses off to find exits is when we as private explorers get paid.

Sorry guys rant over, but you can see why I am a little emotional about this today because at the very heart of what I do is my passion for it. This boils my blood because some of the assets these guys have, I could only wish Id have found. The discretionary inefficiency that happens here by not commercialising or monetising these assets, but taking huge salaries from investors, and not earning them is nothing more than sad & disgusting.
