Sounds better than Queensland of late brussels, but cooled off here nicely today too following a bit of rain to dampen out all the fires.  Just remember prospecting out in the Pilbara summer months back in the 70s and early 80s.  Got stranded in the hills south of the Ashburton River one January in a cyclone and surrounded by floodwaters had to sit out 47c days for a week before we could get out.  34c today sounds like Pilbara heaven, You must be on the coast in a sea breeze.  Pilbara doesn't seem as hot in recent years by all accounts but how quickly that can change.  Ashburton one of the few places I have suffered  shade temps plus 50c and felt like my brain was cooking.
