re: resource boom turning to resource bust There is a HUGE difference between nervous market sentiment and a resources bust. The fundamentals underlining resource stocks i.e. record prices, impossibly tight supply, maximum output and double digit growth in China and India are still ever-present and likely to last. They have shown no sign of abating. BHP is a huge component of the Australian indices and will always suffer when indices are under pressure. BHP might well be going down in the short term but at least get the terminology right.
