Oilman, I neglected to mention another important aspect of our decarbonising capital expenditure.....namely the vehicles in our joint venture with Liebherr truck developing is the EV Roadrunner haul trucks incorporate AHS (Autonomous Haulage Solution) and FMS (Fleet management system).
These systems were developed in our Perth laboratories and the battery technology was developed in our Fortescue Zero laboratories in England. All of our electric mining vehicles will be the the first globally to be produced bestowing on us early adopter advantage..... Massive labour cost savings and potential future mining equipment sales profits will add to the potential bottom line benefits in addition to the diesel savings....That includes our jv with Scania to produce autonomous EV road trains etc
Sounds like smart Capital Expenditure investment to me....Only time will tell!
