Yet again you are very loose with the facts,
GOP nominated 5 members to be on the committee but Pelosi rejected two of them so then GOP rather than select two other members chose not to participate at all.
So the reason there is not an equal number of Dem's and Rep's on the committee is the fault of the GOP
