Microsoft's Office event takes place at 3pm UK time on Wednesday 2 November. You can watch a live stream on its website, which we will also be hosting at the top of this page once it is available.
Microsoft Office Event: What to expect from Office event

Rather than a new version of Microsoft Office, CEO Satya Nadella and Office corporate vice president Kirk Koenigsbauer are thought to be unveiling new collaborative features for team environments. The most widely tipped of these is Microsoft Teams, previously known as Skype Teams.
Microsoft Teams, group chat software that will become a part of the Office suite, is said to be much like Slack (the group chat app Microsoft was once keen to buy).

In common with Slack, you'll be able to chat to colleagues via direct message or within message channels, and share files and images. And it will answer Slack's giphy integration with a fun centre than lets you add emoji, memes, gifs and more. Desktop, web and mobile apps will be available.

Unlike Slack Microsoft Teams is also expected to feature threaded conversations, Office 365 integration and the ability to make Skype calls.
