Why is it you are not able to say 'yes, I didn't take that into account.' But you have to attack the person again rather than the ball. Never mind, you will get lots of TU.
Seeing the wood from the trees is difficult but not seeing them with the benefit of hindsight is typical of deep emotional attachment to a share.
