Sure, fruit and veg may be reasonable prices, but plenty of other things have almost doubled in price the last 4 years.
I am fortunate to own my home, don't have a mortgage or any debts, and have recently stopped working due to ill health. But I sure am conscious of how expensive everything is these days.
