i'm not 100% convinced yet GH. If IRL was to move and inform the market specifically that they are in discussions with HCL and that early indications are nothing will change with their lease and contactual relationships my mind would be slightly at ease.

By all my understanding it was MK who sold HCL the story, who would have convinced HCL of his and his teams experience and the value he can bring to HCL. India need expertise, MK would have sold the story that he can provide that.

Sure the indian's are far from stupid, seeing the recent events unfold they may see through MK but has this tarnished IRL?

the statement nothing has changed is very broad and doesn't really mean anything to me especially when i can see changes have already occured.
