The correspondent of the American Associated Press in Yemen, journalist Ahmed al-Hajj, citing presidential sources, revealed the possibility of declaring the failure of the Riyadh Agreement, concluded between the legitimate government and the Transitional Council, once and for all within the next two days.

Al-Hajj added, "Sources close to the presidency and the transitional leadership in Riyadh believe that the next two days will ensure knowledge of whether a consensus will be reached to save the Riyadh agreement, or its failure."

He continued, "The two parties will have to go to the plan of the international envoy Griffiths," the joint declaration, "and then the Riyadh agreement will become a thing of the past."

The USAID correspondent added, "Information from Riyadh reports on President Hadi: that he will not agree to the new government, before removing the STC forces from Aden. He said, "We signed the Riyadh Agreement, out of respect for Saudi Arabia."

For months, consultations have continued in Riyadh between the two sides, under Saudi sponsorship, with the aim of implementing the Riyadh Agreement and forming the new government.

The Transitional Council has so far refused to remove its forces from Aden, and is pressing for the formation of the government before implementing the military and security part of the agreement
