There's dozens of ways from tow truck drivers, nurses, doctors, aged care workers for younger people eligible for TPD, ambulance officers, police officers etc etc. 22 years of this shit and I have seen it all. Then there are websites set up spammed to for purpose of catching clients and on selling them. One of the biggest firm engaged a company to get clients this way, right or wrong (heh heh) it happens all the time.
(I am actually for the client and it disgusts me that clients are $1000+ in arrears before any work is actually done).

All of this blatantly goes against the PIPA guidelines however no one seems to do anything about it.

Lawyers regularly engage the above as well for clients as well, without knowledge of superiors? who knows, however I doubt it is frowned upon considering it all adds to the bottom line.

I don't employ any of the methods above, far easier ways to do that.
