Well, they conceded that there was no Al Qaeda link to Saddam.
Ergo, Al Qaeda did not exist in Iraq till the US invaded.
Iran? Iran is on record as having offered to assist the US against Al Qaeda & the Taliban. Offer refused, of course.
Indirectly and directly, thus, the US is responsible for the stated "60 per cent of all terrorism-related deaths".
Afghanistan? Again, there was no activity between the Taliban & Al Qaeda before the invasion. The Taliban were ruling the country with an iron fist doing evil things like stamping out opium crops, covering up women, blowing up Bhudda statues, and not allowing the US to build gas pipelines. But there was no terrorism as such.
What do we learn from that? The US creates its own problems wherever it goes to the detriment of local innocents.
