Electric motor transport will send metals much higher and that will result in an increase in the cost of living. Our economists don't get the imminent rise in the cost of food, transport, metals and energy ................... all they see is Cheep Interest Rates to Eternity.

Interest Rates: The psuedo interest rate rise will be in the form of food, energy and transport .................. something that our ever clever economists only ever see in the rear vision mirror................ and never from the front windscreen.

Actually I had a drive of a friends new electric car yesterday. It was an odd feeling with no running motor feel and sound.
But the comfort and performance was excellent. Combined with the low running cost it's a winner.
Will be keeping my diesel for now though.
