From what I have read and heard in various media reports, Cameron is trying to defer the referendum as he has no wish to exit the EU, but the many who do want to exit, want to reclaim their borders and have control once again on the movement of welfare bludgers, which at the moment is a flood of dubious roaches. Why they have put up with the EU as long as they have, not sure, but the fat cats have made a fortune, not the ordinary people who always miss out.
