I remember playing with asbestos as a child (almost 60 yrs ago) - pulling it apart, watching it drift away in the breeze, sparkling different colours in the sunshine etc One thing for sure, asbestos needs to be very dry to be hazardous and to be seriously knocked around to flake away. imo - leaving it outside, tied up in bags is no big deal.
