karl stefanovic on channel 9's today show is now calling it a disaster.
they are now mentioning class action law suits. it isnt just the contractors that are affected, it is residents who in some cases have had to evacuate their homes. today show are now saying there have been incidents in every state of australia with potentially thousands of pits.
although the effects of asbestos may not be physically evident for decades i think people claim damages these days for psychological trauma? with contractors and residents affected i think it is possible this issue will become a massive problem for telstra.
what a mess.
