You're not 'part' of a company unless you're part of its workforce. It's an insult to the employees to think someone with a few bucks invested is part of the culture of the company, you don't contribute to the culture, you don't contribute to the day to day operations of the company.
Shareholders contribute nothing, they're a necessary pain in the ass... Financiers keep the wheels of industry clicking over and for a shareholder, who can buy $1k's worth in the morning and sell $1k's worth in the arvo to think they're 'part of the company' is arrogant and ludicrous.
