come on guys!
do you seriously think insto's give a hoot about the decimals of a stock's price? its all about making money. perhaps retail investors might be influenced by such superficialities, but instos know better. many instos do have limitations on the type of company they may invest in, but these are often regarding market cap, rather than shareprice as such. as you know, consolidations and share splits dont change the underlying value of a company.
the truth is nearer the ridiculous number of shares on issue. it just looks stupid and messy.
