Sirtex may have felt that such a formal delivery of results in the forum of ASCO may contribute price sensitive additional attention towards Sirtex products (which may ignite more conversation between Doctors in attendance etc etc), hence may have thought that the abstract release may have missed the attention of at least some of the stakeholders.
